Springer Early Career Achievement Award in Research on Adult Development and Aging

Announcing the Springer Early Career Achievement Award in Research on Adult Development and Aging.

This award is designed to honor an individual whose work has made significant early career contributions to understanding critical issues in the psychology of adult development and aging.

ELIGIBILITY

Potential nominees must have received a doctoral degree no longer than 7 years prior to application for the award, show evidence of scholarly publications in journals/books, and membership in Division 20 of APA.

NOMINATION PROCESS

Nominations are due (electronic submission only) to

by May 1.  Please include "Division 20 Springer Award" in your subject header.

Include (electronic submission please, preferably bundled into a single e-mail)

1. Cover letter from a senior scholar indicating the qualifications and achievements of the nominee.

2. Brief statement by the nominee of current research accomplishments and future directions

3. Current c.v.

4. Up to three published or in press papers.

5. Up to two additional letters of support.

SELECTION

Nominees will be reviewed by the current, past, and president-elect of Division 20.
